What is Basic0.com?
Basic0.com is a hobby site used for experimentation in web programming and scripting. This site mainly uses Flash, PHP, Mysql, Javascript, CSS and HTML. Some source code is provided for anyone who is interested. Some material on this site was not created by Basic0 and was merely placed here upon request. If you feel any of the material on this site should be removed feel free to contact me.
How does the File Search page work?
The File Search page uses Google to search for direct links to files that are located on websites. Just put in the name of the file that you want to find, select the file type and click search. Beware of websites that have caught on to this trick, they will direct you to an online store. For example, if your searching for an mp3 file, don't click on a website that that has mp3 in the website name.
Where's the proxy?
Basic0.com used to have a proxy available for those of you trying to view blocked websites such as Myspace, Facebook or whatever...Unfortunately having a proxy violates Basic0's hosting terms and conditions, and was giving the choice to have the proxy removed or get shut down. I think you may know which decision was made. If you don't require login capabilities, you can always try Google Translator to view blocked websites.
